Splash of Jay – Property Styling
Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all property styling services provided by Splash of Jay ("we", "us", "our"). By paying the invoice issued for styling services, the client ("you", "your") acknowledges and agrees to these Terms.

1. Booking & Payment
1.1 A booking is only confirmed once the invoice has been paid in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.2 Payment of the invoice indicates acceptance of these Terms.
1.3 All invoices must be paid by the due date stated. Delayed payment may affect installation dates or availability.
2. Service Scope
2.1 Property styling includes the selection, delivery, installation, and hire of furniture, artwork, décor, and accessories for the agreed staging period.
2.2 Any items or services requested outside the initial quote may incur additional charges.
3. Hire Period
3.1 The standard hire period is 6 weeks unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Extensions are available upon request and will incur an additional fee.
3.3 Early pickup requested by the client does not qualify for any refund or reduction in fees.
4. Access Requirements
4.1 The property must be clean, decluttered, and ready for installation prior to our arrival.
4.2 You are responsible for ensuring clear access to the property on installation and collection days (keys, parking, building access, lifts, etc.).
4.3 Any delays caused by access issues may incur additional fees.
5. Condition of Styled Items
5.1 All items remain the property of Splash of Jay.
5.2 You are responsible for ensuring the safety of all hired items for the duration of the hire period.
5.3 Damage, staining, breakage, or loss of any hired item will result in repair or replacement fees.

6. Photography & Marketing Use
6.1 We reserve the right to photograph the styled property for marketing, portfolio, social media, and promotional use.
6.2 We may share the images with real estate agents and vendors involved in the sale.

7. Cancellations & Changes
7.1 Cancellations made after invoice payment but before installation may incur an administrative fee.
7.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of installation may incur up to 50% of the total styling fee.
7.3 If we arrive on installation day and the property is not ready or access is not provided, call-out or rescheduling fees may apply.

8. Liability
8.1 While we take care when installing items, Splash of Jay is not responsible for existing property damage, structural issues, or wear and tear.
8.2 We are not liable for any loss of income or sales outcomes related to the styling or hire period.
8.3 Outdoor items are hired at the client's risk. Weather-related damage or theft remains the client's responsibility.
9. Pickup & End of Hire
9.1 Pickup will be arranged based on agent or client availability and property access.
9.2 All items must remain in the location and condition in which they were installed until collection.
9.3 If items are moved, packed away, or made inaccessible, additional fees may apply.
10. Agreement
10.1 By paying the invoice, the client acknowledges that they:
